One of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body and mind. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. It is also exceptionally beneficial for improving circulation, decreasing muscle toxins, and increasing flexibility and movement while easing tension. Your therapist will create a customized massage based on your individual needs. You will emerge blissfully relaxed and wonderfully energized!
Duck’s Deep Tissue
Deep tissue is best described as a therapeutic troubleshooting massage to help relieve muscular aches and pains for those with active lifestyles. The therapist applies deeper pressure to targeted areas of the body, to access and release tension in deeper muscular layers.
Shirobliss
Indulge yourself in our newest treatment where your therapist will massage the head, neck, and shoulders. Experience pure tranquility of shirodhara, where warm oil is poured on the forehead to calm your nervous system. This will be sure to send you to a blissful state of mind all while the therapist performs reflexology.
Aromatherapy
This full body massage treatment becomes enhanced with a steamed hand made thai herbal ball. The hot compress is filled with lavender buds and lemon that gently releases essential oil to the skin. The soothing process will leave your skin smooth, calm sore muscles and aids in the mindful relaxation process of whole-body wellbeing. Add Deep to Aromatherapy for $15.
Ayurveda
This Ayurvedic therapy includes our Udvartna, Soul Essential & Shirodhara treatments in one indulgent, relaxing service to still the mind, relieve stress and tension, and replace the body with peace, calmness and consciousness. Subtle energies of the body and mind are balanced with this enlightening full body polish exfoliating treatment, followed with a warm oil massage known as Abhyanga finished with a full Shirodhara session of warm oil to the third eye including a scalp & hair treatment of oil. Our most luxurious full body and mind experience.
Apathocary Scrub
An herbal scrub made with your choice of seasonal ingredients gently exfoliates and renews the skin. Enjoy the application of nutrient-rich body butter that deeply moisturizes and renews your skin. This treatment will leave your body feeling baby soft, all while tightening and firming your skin through increased circulation and cellular regeneration. Drift away to a far off place with the sense of earth.
Sticks and Stones
Tailored towards therapeutic work and muscular needs. This service uses hot stones and warm bamboo sticks to provide additional pressure in massaging away the knots and tightness in all body areas. A therapeutic massage to ease pain and stiffness while increasing joint mobility. Designed to alleviate inflammation and soreness to overworked muscles.
Sound Bath Sessions
This private one on one Sound Bath is a special full body immersive meditation listening experience that intentionally uses vibrations to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative waves to fall into a deep state of relaxation. Lie down to bathe in the relaxing waves of Quartz crystal signing bowls to help relieve tension and to create space in the body. Copper bowls help to balance the body back into a parasympathetic nervous system. This service is completed fully dressed. Offered Sundays by appointment only
Hair of the Duck
Feeling the effects of migraines or a hangover? This treatment is sure to leave you feeling relief. Focusing on the head, neck, shoulders, and feet. Lie back while our therapist massages those tension areas while using hot towel treatments. This service includes the application of a rejuvenating and detoxifying moisturizer. Service is completed fully dressed if preferred.
Prenatal Pampering
Massage for a mother-to-be is a deeply nurturing way for her to care for herself and her baby, and has many benefits: Muscle tension created by carrying the extra weight of a baby can be relieved by encouraging blood flow to the afflicted areas. This provides more nutrient-rich oxygen and also increases the flow of lymphatic fluid, which sweeps away toxins and metabolic waste. Fatigue, backaches, leg cramps, and swelling/edema can all be relieved through various massage techniques. The ordinary aches and pains of pregnancy are countered by the release of serotonin, your body’s natural anti-pain chemical. Providing you with a better night’s sleep, massage therapy not only helps diminish anxiety and discomfort but boosts relaxation as well. This ultimately can lead to improved sleep patterns. Pre-natal massage can be safely performed on women after their first trimester.

Need a little more attention to your back? Adding a back scrub service is done during your massage to include an exfoliating scrub, and lotion with heated towels.

Hot Stone massage therapy enables the direct heat of the stones to relax muscles, allowing the therapist access to deeper muscle layers. Combining hot stones with a full body massage provides a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones also expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. Benefits of Hot Stones:

After detoxing, relax further as we perform our Spa Ritual Pedicure with the added benefit of hot stone & somatology massage to the feet & legs, complete with nail care, exfoliation & polish. Spa Etiquette
Reservations and Arrival
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your service. This allows time to enjoy our co-ed Waterfront Relaxation Lounge, complete your intake form and change into a Spa Robe. If arriving late, we will do our best to accommodate your scheduled appointment. Your appointment will end as scheduled and the full value will apply. Guests arriving 20+ minutes late will have no service and will incur the full cost of service.
Cancellation/ Rescheduling Policy
We require any changes or cancellations to be made 24 hours prior to the start of a scheduled appointment. 100% of the value of the service will be charged for rescheduling or cancellations made after the 24-hours advance notice.
Spa Attire
Complimentary use of spa robes, slippers and lockers is provided for all spa guests. Our staff is professionally trained in proper draping to ensure modesty and comfort throughout the treatments. Guests may fully undress or opt to wear undergarments, based on your own level of comfort.
Considerations/Valuables
To preserve our tranquil environment, the spa is a cell phone-free, pager-free and smoke-free environment. Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables to the spa. We are not responsible for items that are lost or left at the spa.
Service Fees
Prices are subject to change at AQUA’s discretion. For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be automatically added to all spa services. Please feel free to make an adjustment based on the service that you experienced.
